Monumental Work
Michelle has been fortunate to receive several monumental commissions to sculpt life size horses. A huge undertaking, these works were created using traditional sculptural techniques involving all the challenges of modelling & casting on a large scale. No digital enlargement methods were used. Over this period she developed skills in armature construction, welding, fettling and patina on a monumental scale. Michelle gained a deep respect for the Old Masters and all of the challenges they must have faced in their time.
